Hari Anugerah Kecemerlangan 2010
Hi there,
Joy filled the hall today as it was the Prize-Giving Ceremony of the year. Described by Puan Pauline as one of the highlight events of the year, many happy students who had won prizes showed up with their parents to receive their prizes that they had worked so hard for. Among the VIPs that came today were Encik Adi Azhar, Vice-President PIBG, Puan Anum Zakiah,Headmistress of S.K. Sri Petaling, Puan Hanim, President of the Curriculum Biro, Encik Sarkunan, President of the Co-curriculum Biro , Puan Zarida, President of the 3K Biro and Encik Kevin Steer, President of the Development Biro. The event started at 8.30a.m with the singing of the national anthem and the school song. After that it was the reading of prayers and speeches by the Headmistress and The Vice-President of the PIBG. The prize giving ceremony finally began at 9.30 with the presentation of prizes to the students of upper primary. Later, prizes to students who had won the NILAM prize and the UPSR 5As prize. After that, the students in Level 1 presented Action Song under the guidance of Puan Noor Juliana. The moment which had been anticipated by many pupils arrived with the announcement of the Bintang SSP award. This award is for students who had excelled in both academics and co curriculum. The female winner was won by Yootha Tiki Yong while the male recipients were Sean Ng and Tengku Ahmad Irfan.(it was shared). The prizes for the Co-curriculum,Level 1 and The Convocation Ceremony for the pre-schoolers followed. It was certainly all smiles for the students who had won prizes.

UPSR Results | Children's Day 2010
Wow! Congratulations to all who achieved good results in the UPSR. This year we have 48 pupils getting 5As. A slight decrease from last year but still a good result. Tears and joy filled the hall on Thursday when the UPSR results were announced. Meanwhile, on Friday we celebrated Children's Day. We had a big party with a lot of food! There were many performances by the Std 6 students of SSP. Among them were The School Life by me and my friends,DJ Got Us Falling In Love Again by Franciska S. Hartmans,No Other-Super Junior by Nur Alyaa Talat and a few performances by Fatihah and her group. I JUST LOVED YESTERDAY! IT WAS A BITTER-SWEET DAY FOR SSP PUPILS!

Class Party/Children's Day
Wazzup,
As you all know, this Friday will be our class party day and also children's day. So to whoever who would like to perform, auditions are tomorrow. Also remember to bring RM10 tomorrow to pay for the class party. This Friday will be the last day of school for everyone excluding the pupils who won prizes for Hari Anugerah Kecemerlangan who have to attend practice on Monday and the Prize Giving Ceremony which would be held on Tuesday. Since it will be the last day you will meet your friends in school, please, make an effort to be present. Ah, remember the UPSR results will be announced this Thursday. PLEASE BE PRESENT. I hope these events will proceed successfully and perfectly.

Textbook Loan Scheme
Whaddup!
As you all know, our textbooks are loaned to us by the Education Department. Therefore, it has come to the time we return our textbooks for the use of the pupils younger than us. Tomorrow will be the day we return our textbooks. Yes, Friday the 29th of October 2010. Remember to ensure that your textbooks are in perfect condition. Please remember to return all your textbooks tomorrow or risk the loaning of your textbooks the next year being delayed.

Senamrobikton 2010
Hey everyone,
Thanks to everyone for coming for the Senamrobikton. We couldn't have made it a success without you guys. I saw that the sale of coupons on that day was overwhelming until they couldn't keep up with the demand. I'm pretty sure that we have made it well over our target of RM120,000.00. And I also wish to announce that I will still be the admin of this blog since I couldn't find a suitable replacement. Hehe sorry about that..... :( I think I'll just make this blog into an alumni page for the school and maybe post a few fun articles on this blog. You know like a community page..... I'll probably help Puan Azrina keep you updated on the school events. Senamrobikton 2010
This 23rd October,there will be a senamrobikton which is usually held once every 2 years. Please make an effort to be present. Coupons are being sold at RM10 a booklet. Please collect as much as you can with the donation cards provided to you. So far our total collection has reached about RM15,000.00 plus. That is still a far cry from our goal of RM100,000.00. New authors for this blog!
Hey guys,
As you all know the year has almost come to an end, I will be leaving this school therefore I will not be in charge of this blog anymore. I have chosen a replacement for me from the Std 5's that have applied. Their names will be announced soon. All this time I have been using a pseudonym which has been 'Sspian', now I believe it is time I announce my real identity. My name is Sean Ng. Well, now you know my name.

Prefects and Quarter Masters Dinner
Wow ! Wasn't it an enjoyable time in Port Dickson! The prefects and QM dinner that was held last night was held in Institut Latihan FAMA,Port Dickson. There were lucky draws, performances and also a slide show presented to us by Cikgu Yusri. We also enjoyed playing soccer and water polo in the swimming pool. I, on the behalf of all the prefects and quarter masters wish to thank Puan Azrina Arshad, the head of our PIBG, Datin Salmah,Encik Lee,Abang Din and also please forgive me should I have left anyone out. Should these generous people not sponsored the prizes, our dinner couldn't have been more merrier.

Merdeka Month
Hi guys,
Yesterday was the closing ceremony for our Merdeka Month. Prizes were presented to pupils who had won competitions held throughout the month. We also got a chance to watch our Mini Orchestra which I have to say isn't that mini at all. We also watched Cikgu Razman recite a short poem entitled 'Aku bingung...'. I really enjoyed that poem! Did you? Have you ever wondered what Malaysia would be like should we not have gained independence ? Well, I don't think we would be enjoying the life we are having now. So, please work hard to preserve the independence of our beloved country.

The UPSR is finally over!!! You all must be busy celebrating well so am I but there are still 2 exams to come . Ujian PROTIM will be held on Monday to test your 3M that is Membaca,Menulis dan Mengira. And also PKSR 4 will be held on the 31st of August. Please take note of these important dates and I wish to congratulate the Standard 6's for sitting for their UPSR . I hope that we will achieve our target of 100 5A's.

Term Holidays and Hari Raya Holidays
Hey guys,
It is my pleasure to inform you that starting from 6th September, the 2nd mid-term holidays will begin. On the following week, we will celebrate Hari Raya which is a joyous occasion for everyone.
Unfortunately, right after our holidays end which is the 20th of September the UPSR week begins for the Std Sixes. So it's all a big rush but nevertheless please enjoy your holidays and study hard for the UPSR. Oh, and also a big SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!!!! to everyone!
