Mechanical Pencils

As you all know the ban on mechanical pencils was effectively implemented on the 23rd of August. This ban is to ensure the safety of all SSP students. Although the ban has been implemented, many of our students are still bringing them. I personally have encountered such items this week and many were confiscated. I now wish to highlight the pros and cons of using mechanical pencils:
Pros

• Writing is easier and sharpening is reduced.
• Mechanical pencils can last longer.
• Writing is easier for those who are used to mechanical pencils

Cons

• More costly.
• Mechanical pencil lead can be dangerous.
• Not environmental friendly

Based on these reasons, I'm sure you all know what you are supposed to do. I hope that everyone would adhere to the rules to ensure everyone's safety.

Merdeka Month

Wazzup guys!

As you all know this month, we will be celebrating our 53rd Independence Day. Tomorrow the launch of the Merdeka Month will take place. Everyone is supposed to be dressed neatly as a sign of respect tomorrow. I'm not sure whether there will be a competition for class decoration but a few classes have already started to put up the flags and banners. Kudos to these classes! Why don't everyone start decorating their classes and we'll have the most colourful Merdeka ever!
Well I just want to wish everyone a BIG HAPPY MERDEKA DAY!!!

Percubaan UPSR

I guess you all have to be tired of seeing the title 'Percubaan UPSR' but it's still hasn't ended yet and this week Std 6 will be facing the 4th one. So good luck guys :D..

Percubaan UPSR

This week's exam has just finished. Next week is a break and the following week will be an exam again. Oh, and remember guys there will be an Open Day for parents of Std 6 pupils to discuss with the relevant subject teachers. So remember everyone, don't be absent! Well that's all for now! Percubaan UPSR

Well that pretty much wraps up this week's Percubaan UPSR 2. Next week there will be Percubaan UPSR 3. So everyone remember to study hard to achieve 5 As.

Kelas Tambahan

Just a quick reminder for Std 6 pupils. There won't be any Kelas Tambahan tomorrow because the teachers are busy. Oh, and next week will be the Percubaan-2 and the next week Percubaan-3. Wow, what a lot of tests! Well, I hope you all are ready this time. Good luck!

Minggu Pusat Sumber

Phew! We just had a whole week of activities and it all ended today on the closing ceremony of Minggu Pusat Sumber 2010. Among the activities held were Syarahan, story telling, Spell-It-Right,Mathematics chart making competition, KH Reka Cipta and Science experiments.Today, the winners of these activities received their prizes for all the hard work they put in. We all sang the Budaya Membaca song one last time for this year. I myself got the prize for Science. Congratulations to all who got prizes and to those who did not, don't give up and keep on trying. I'm sorry there are no pictures (I know that rarely, there are pictures) but it's just that we are not allowed to bring cameras to school but I will try to get permission next time. Well that's all I have to say now. See you again in another post!
